Mr. Salazar’s role with System High Corporation builds upon a distinguished career spanning more than a decade in both civilian and military spheres. Additionally, he serves in the U.S. Navy Reserve, continuing his commitment to national security.
Before joining System High Corporation, Mr. Salazar held several key positions within the U.S. Navy. From 2021 to 2024, he served as an instructor, guiding service members through rigorous training and contributing to their professional development. Serving in the military for over a decade, Mr. Salazar spent from 2018 to 2021 as a combat information center leading petty officer aboard the USS Dextrous. In this role, he was responsible for critical operational duties during a period marked by heightened international tensions. Notably, in January 2020, during the standoff between the United States and Iran in the Gulf region, Mr. Salazar and his crew were on standby amid uncertainty about potential conflict, a defining moment that underscored his ability to remain composed under pressure.
Earlier military assignments included serving as operations supervisor from 2017 to 2018 and as watch supervisor aboard the USS Gladiator from 2015 to 2017. Throughout these roles, Mr. Salazar demonstrated adaptability and resilience while supporting mission objectives both at sea and ashore.
Mr. Salazar’s academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in history from Troy University in Troy, Alabama, earned in 2026. This educational background has provided him with analytical skills and historical perspective that enhance his approach to leadership and problem-solving within complex environments. In addition to his formal education, Mr. Salazar remains active with Phi Alpha Theta, Phi Sigma Pi, and The National Society of Leadership and Success. These affiliations reflect his commitment to continuous learning and engagement with broader professional communities.
Beyond his primary responsibilities, Mr. Salazar has contributed significantly to civic-minded organizations. He has served as a contributor to Wounded Warriors and as a coordinator for the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. As a civilian coordinator at the Mine Warfare Training Center, he supports the organization’s mission to develop and deliver the most relevant and effective mine warfare training and education to enable the fleet to successfully conduct combat operations at sea.
Recognition for Mr. Salazar’s exemplary service includes multiple awards from the U.S. Navy, including a Quarter Award in 2015, 2016 and 2020, an Instructor of the Quarter Award in 2022 and 2023, and, among others, a U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps Achievement Medal. Among all his accomplishments, however, what stands out most for Mr. Salazar is witnessing the success of his team members.
