Mr. Julian is a seasoned military and information technology professional whose career spans over 25 years, culminating in his role as an information assurance analyst and information system security officer at the RMC, located at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland, since 2022. As a contractor for the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), he ensures that the U.S. Navy systems network complies with DOD systems agency standards and risk management framework compliance. He also assembles authorization packages. Before his present position, Mr. Julian held various other positions with ReMilNet in Fayetteville, North Carolina, AT&T, United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) at Fort Bragg, and Tier 1 Group LLC.

Beginning his career as an infantry team lead in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army in 1998, Mr. Julian rose to become a part of the U.S. Army 3rd Special Forces Group, based in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, from 2001 to 2010 and ultimately becoming a special forces intelligence sergeant (Green Beret). He honorably served his country from 1998 to 2010, serving seven overseas deployments during his tenure. Mr. Julian’s career in the military has been complemented by his education, having earned a Bachelor of Science in computer and information systems security and information assurance and a Master of Science in information technology project management at the American Military University. Moreover, Mr. Julian received numerous professional credentials from CompTIA, CISCO Systems, and other organizations, solidifying his expertise in information technology and digital forensics.

Mr. Julian is an active member of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Green Beret Foundation and the Special Forces Association. Outside of these affiliations, he enjoys supporting organizations that cater to animals, namely the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Mr. Julian’s remarkable military career earned him numerous medals and accolades, including being decorated with four Bronze Star Medals, one of which was for valor, three Army Commendation Medals, and a Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal. However, his most notable honors included the Silver Star and the Canadian Commander-in-Chief Commendation. Attributing his success to his parents, Mr. Julian looks forward to earning additional professional certifications and following his passion by establishing a no-kill animal sanctuary.
