Tommy Lee Ingram Jr., student veterans of America president at Augusta Technical College and founder at Veterans Activity Center of Augusta, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Military for dedication, achievements, and leadership in community activism for veterans and students.

With over 35 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Ingram has excelled as founder of the Veterans Activity Center of Augusta. In this role, he ensures all veterans receive benefits and remain active and well-tended to, particularly disabled veterans. He has also served as student veterans of America president at Augusta Technical College since 2022. He was active as an administration sergeant in the United States Army from 1987 to 1996. He continued his career at Fort Gordon RTS Medical where he held the role of supply technician for nine years.

While embarking on his professional path, Mr. Ingram has pursued an education at Augusta Technical College where he is pursuing an associate’s degree in electrical systems technology and construction engineering. Beyond his responsibilities within the field, he has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He was featured in an article in a 2019 article in The August Chronicle titled “New Veterans Activity Center to Open in South Augusta” and another article in WJBF Digital in 2023. 

In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Ingram remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise, including as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was recognized as an honoree by Bellevue University in 2023. In the immediate future, he intends to pursue and complete a doctorate in engineering as well as encourage veterans to complete their education and explore the field of electrical engineering.
