Randy L. Perry, MBA, MS, Logistics Management Specialist at the Transportation Security Administration with the Department of Homeland Security, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Military for dedication, achievements, and leadership.

Since joining the Department in 2018, Mr. Perry has translated Logistical goals into operational concepts for annual funding procurement, performed property accountability assessments, and provided life-cycle Logistics oversight to ensure operational system support. Prior to this post, he served as a Deputy Director for the Department of Veterans Affairs (2013-2018), as a Program Manager and Principal Logistics Analyst with the Pentagon (2008-2013), and began his civilian career as a Senior Logistics Management Specialist for Raytheon International (2007-08).

An expert in his field, Mr. Perry holds four degrees; a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from Mount Marty College, a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from The Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy to include an MBA and a Master of Science in Management both through Strayer University.

Drawing inspiration from the examples of his grandfather and father, both of whom served in the military, Mr. Perry advanced to the rank of an Army Captain and graduated Officer Candidate School (1997-2007). To maintain relevancy within his field, Mr. Perry has maintained affiliation with the Alpha Chi National Honor Society, Golden Key International Honour Society, and Phi Alpha Theta.

In recognition of his achievements in service to the United States, Mr. Perry received the Bronze Star Medal as a Soldier, a Gold Medal as an All-Army Athlete to include the Pentagon Staff Badge as a federal government civilian employee. In the coming years, Mr. Perry plans to retire and give back to his community through teaching and mentoring as a 32nd Degree Mason (Scottish Rite).
