Location: Bonaire, Georgia, United States

Leo Spielman, Retired Chief Master Sergeant at U.S. Air Force, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Military for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the transition from military to civilian life.

Mr. Spielman served his country for three decades in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1996, where he attained the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (E-9). Mr. Spielman has used his decades of experience to help veterans transition from military to civilian life. He began by working as a veterans employment representative for ten years with the Georgia Department of Labor and then voluntarily on Robins Air Force Base in Georgia.

Mr. Spielman soon realized it could also be a good source of income, which led him to start his own company in 2013, Resumes to Get Hired LLC. He saw a growing need for professional resumes to help close the employment gap due to inability of applicants to effectively express their accomplishments to hiring managers. The firm crafts powerful résumés and concise position-specific cover letters for its clients, and preps job applicants prepare you for successful interviews by refining how to convey each client’s unique and exceptional skills for the position.

Upon joining the Air Force, Mr. Spielman earned an Associate of Applied Science in public affairs through the Community College of the Air Force, and a Bachelor of Arts in management from Park University. Following his thirty years of service, he continued his education with a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. His professional associations include the Professional Association of Résumé Writers and Career Coaches, and military associations include the Air Force Sergeants Association, Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

For Mr. Spielman, the greatest factor that contributed to the success of his business today is the discipline he learned during his solid 30-year experience with the military. He also attributes his success to the unfailing love and support from his wife. Over the course of Mr. Spielman’s career, his biggest contribution was through his work as a newspaper editor in the Air Force. The role allowed him to share the important stories of service members and tell how significant their contributions were to the success of the U.S. military.

In the coming years, Mr. Spielman’s goal is to become a major resume writer within the state of Georgia and to write resumes with authenticity, sincerity, and truth.
