Arthur Yearby, Chief Warrant Officer at United States Army, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Military for dedication, achievements, and leadership in military aviation training.
Mr. Yearby’s over five decades of service to his country includes his current role as a senior professional trainer and aviation combined arms tactical trainer (AVCATT) with the United States Army. He had served as a Chief Warrant Officer 5 and pilot with the Army from 1967 to 2003 and a regional manager in L-3 communications in South Korea from 2003 to 2015. He has garnered numerous honors during his service including the Legion of Merit from the Army and a Bronze Star for bravery during the Gulf War in which he crossed into enemy lines to retrieve an aircraft. In a separate incident, Mr. Yearby experienced a critical aircraft failure at 10 thousand feet in the air but managed to save himself and his aircraft.
After initially obtaining a Bachelor of Science in aviation science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Mr. Yearby later continued his education with a Master of Arts in management in 1988 from the University of Phoenix. Since 2020, he has owned and operated Yearby’s Family Transportation LLC, a premier trucking company in Fayetteville.
Mr. Yearby considers his most notable achievement being in the military and everything that he has done for his country. He has spent 13 years as a helicopter pilot trainer and a total of 20 years in the aviation training field. In the coming years, he is hoping for the continued growth and success of his trucking company and to see his children succeed in its management.
