Beth Lockhart, Visual Artist at Dragon’s Lair, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Military for dedication, achievements, and leadership in original art production.
For over two decades, Ms. Lockhart has served her country as an aircraft avionic systems specialist at Tinker Air Force Base, the headquarters of the Air Force Materiel Command’s (AFMC) Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center. Previously, she had provided superior service as an aviation mechanic with the Oklahoma National Guard, with which she focused on maintaining the military’s division airborne warning and control system. During this period, Ms. Lockhart regularly honed her artistic skills in between her daily tasks.
Ms. Lockhart has exhibited and sold her own visually stunning artworks, with a medieval fantasy theme, from her own business, Dragon’s Lair, for over three decades. Moreover, she also displays her art at the annual Medieval Fair in Norman, Oklahoma, where she initially developed her sizable customer base.
As an artist, Ms. Lockhart’s most notable achievement is being recognized by other artists who are at the shows as someone who has joined the ranks of the masters. It also gives her great joy to have a loyal customer base of people who know her artwork and know she is present at a show. In the coming years, Ms. Lockhart intends to continue expanding her local following as well as her professional network of fellow artists.
