Across a diverse range of experiences, he has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to service and leadership in both the civilian and military sectors.
In 2025, Mr. Arnold began serving as a security guard with GardaWorld, where he manages a small team of security personnel. His expertise in air defense is evident in his role protecting both domestic and international locations from enemy air attacks and threats, including aircraft, unmanned aerial systems and missiles.
Before joining GardaWorld, Mr. Arnold spent over a decade in the retail sector, beginning in management roles at Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins in 2012. Over the years, he joined organizations such as Walmart, Southern Homebrew Beer & Wine Supply, and BJ’s Wholesale Club Inc. in various capacities. Mastering the complexity of ensuring smooth daily operations, he was well-regarded for his success with store logistics and customer satisfaction.
Additionally, Mr. Arnold contributed to youth development as an assistant basketball coach at New Smyrna Beach High School from 2013 to 2019. His involvement in coaching reflects his commitment to mentorship and community engagement.
Mr. Arnold’s military service is a cornerstone of his professional journey. Since 2017, he has served as an Avenger crew section sergeant with the U.S. Army, demonstrating advanced skills in air defense systems and team leadership. From 2022 to 2024, he also served as an administrative noncommissioned officer, managing critical administrative functions and supporting military operations. Additionally, in 2022, Mr. Arnold also worked as a temporary technician in surface maintenance and repair for the U.S. Army, contributing technical expertise to equipment upkeep. From 2014 to 2017, he excelled as a concrete and asphalt equipment operator within the military.
Mr. Arnold’s educational background includes a vocational certificate in criminal justice with a focus on law enforcement administration from Seminole State College of Florida, earned in 2018. He later acquired certifications as an unarmed security officer in 2021 and as an armed security officer in 2025, both from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
Throughout his military career, Mr. Arnold has been recognized with numerous awards for exemplary service and achievement. Among other honors, he was decorated with a Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, a Humanitarian Service Medal, an Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, an Overseas Service Ribbon and the Meritorious Service Medal. That latest accolade, a distinction equivalent to the Bronze Star Medal, was awarded to him in 2025 for his most recent deployment.
Reflecting on his career, mentorship has played a significant role, inspiring Mr. Arnold along his path of service and leadership. He especially values empathy as a central element of his character and emphasizes that communication is essential to every operation or mission he encounters. Looking ahead, Mr. Arnold aims to advance his military career by pursuing the warrant officer path before eventually moving into a civilian role. He is committed to achieving greater autonomy over his time and choices while continuing to make meaningful contributions through his work and service.
