He is most proud of the positive impact he has had on many soldiers and colleagues, focusing on helping individuals become better leaders and fostering growth in every environment.
Prior to joining Silver Mountain Construction LLC, Mr. Roundtree served as the superintendent at Bach Homes LLC from 2024 to 2025. During this period, he managed residential construction operations and ensured that all projects met rigorous standards for safety and quality. Concurrently, he also worked as the senior superintendent at Bach Construction, Inc., where he was responsible for overseeing multiple job sites and mentoring junior staff members.
From 2023 to 2024, Mr. Roundtree was recruited as a contracting officer at Tactical Drywall. In this post, he managed contract negotiations and project execution for commercial drywall installations, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Mr. Roundtree’s distinguished career began with two decades of service in the United States Army from 2003 to 2023. As a senior leader and senior operations manager, he played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of countless soldiers. He organized, structured and led a team at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, operating as primary instructors for hand-to-hand combat training. Under his guidance, a top-tier Army combatives course was developed that attracted participants nationwide and earned recognition from the All Army Combatives Committee Board. His military tenure coincided with the surge following September 11, 2001—a period marked by significant overseas deployments among his age group—and his contributions have left a lasting mark on those he mentored.
Mr. Roundtree is recognized as an expert in leadership, a distinction reflected in his ability to inspire others and drive organizational success. He is an active member of the Order of Saint Barbara and the United States Field Artillery Association, further underscoring his dedication to professional excellence within the military and construction sectors. The values instilled by his grandfather, Landon Tuck Stringfellow—a veteran whose service spanned World War II through the Vietnam era—and his father, Charles Thomas Roundtree, who exemplified perseverance and resilience, have been instrumental in shaping Mr. Roundtree’s approach to leadership and personal development.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Roundtree has demonstrated civic engagement through positions such as director of fundraising and events for Golf for Freedom. His involvement with veterans’ organizations reflects his dedication to supporting fellow service members and contributing positively to the community.
Throughout his career and personal life, Mr. Roundtree has remained committed to preserving a sense of playfulness and openness—qualities he believes are essential for enjoying life’s experiences fully while maintaining strong connections to one’s roots. Looking ahead, he is considering investing in a company founded by a fellow World War II veteran that has grown into an influential force in national and international construction or starting his own construction company as a legacy for his children. Additionally, he aims to obtain Project Management Professional certification and pursue further formal education.
