Eric Johnson, Author, U.S. Army Veteran, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Military for dedication, achievements and leadership in Military Services and Science Fiction.

Mr. Johnson is a distinguished U.S. Army veteran who admirably served his country for 15 years. Since that time, he has served in various capacities, becoming well-rounded in diverse roles. Lauded for his writing expertise, Mr. Johnson has established a reputation as an author specializing in military science fiction. As such, he has dedicated his career to weaving his extensive military experiences into compelling narratives.

A journey into authorship that began in 2009 after returning from an 11-month deployment to Afghanistan, Mr. Johnson had participated in daily combat operations. His experience not only shaped his writing but also stands as one of his most notable achievements. Becoming a self-published author shortly thereafter in 2010, he continues to craft stories that reflect his profound understanding of military operations, strategy, counterinsurgency and more. Mr. Johnson has over 30 books in his collection thus far.

Bringing his depth of experience to his writing, Mr. Johnson seamlessly captures the authenticity and realism of events in all his stories. He currently has several series of books, including “5th Kommando,” “C Troop 1-5 Kommando,” “2-4 Cavalry,” and “Eagle Hammer Universe.” He has also published in other genres, including fantasy with his series “Tales of Baromir” and erotica with “Another Night.” Mr. Johnson’s books can be found on Amazon.com and the Amazon Kindle platform.

In addition to his work as an author, Mr. Johnson has contributed to writing music. He has also made significant contributions to the literary world as a book reviewer. His keen insights and analytical skills have allowed him to evaluate and critique various works, further honing his expertise in the genre of military science fiction. Mr. Johnson’s passion for storytelling is complemented by his love for gaming, which provides him with additional creative inspiration and a unique perspective on narrative development.

Beyond his military and writing careers, Mr. Johnson has served as a senior instructor for J-SERE, where he trained players in real-world tactics for a military simulation gaming clan and in the use of weapons. He served in a similar capacity at the 562nd Tactical School. Among other roles, Mr. Johnson excelled as a project lead and texture artist for the Super Hornet in the Strike Fighters 2 Project.

Mr. Johnson served on active duty in the U.S. Army for 12 years, followed by an additional three years in the U.S. Army National Guard. He retired from the military in 2013. During this time, he earned an Associate of Arts in business management from American InterContinental University, which he completed in 2011. This education has equipped Mr. Johnson with the skills necessary to manage his writing and publishing career independently.

In light of his military experience, Mr. Johnson has been recognized for his contributions and achievements. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, a testament to his bravery and dedication during his service. Mr. Johnson attributes much of his success to the discipline instilled in him during this period, as well as the unwavering support and inspiration he received from his mother.
