Michael Patrick Brown, Chief of Weapons and Tactics at the U.S. Air Force Reserve, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Military for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Defense.

Mr. Brown, an operational test pilot with the U.S. Air Force since 2022 and chief of weapons and tactics for the A-10 Division of the U.S. Air Force Reserve since 2024, has led a remarkable career in the military for over 15 years. Additionally, he is recognized for his expertise as an instructor pilot with over 10 years of experience in flying and teaching. As part of his day-to-day activities, Mr. Brown oversees the deployment and effectiveness of munitions and engages in operational testing and training. He also contributes to the development of new weapons systems for the A-10. His goal is to improve the capabilities of the jets currently deployed in the Middle East.

Throughout his career in the military, Mr. Brown bravely served overseas, deployed to Afghanistan from 2013 to 2014 and Turkey between 2015 and 2016. While in Afghanistan, he conducted combat operations, concentrating on close air support and ground troop assistance during a critical period of conflict. Mr. Brown also participated in the fight against ISIS in Iraq and Syria, contributing to significant military efforts to reclaim territory and stabilize the region. Inspired by his father, who served in the U.S. Air Force and graduated from pilot training in 1974, he was active in the military during the Vietnam era but was fortunate not to fight.

Mr. Brown is an Air Force Weapons School graduate, a rigorous six-month training and career highlight for him. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in management from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2010. He now leverages what he learned in school to apply it to his role as the owner of a local property management company. Since its establishment less than two years ago, he and his wife have begun managing long-term and short-term rentals, including a unit on the Las Vegas Strip. Eager to expand, the self-sustaining business has allowed Mr. Brown to make a name for himself in the real estate sector. Preparing for the future ahead, he will soon be retiring from the U.S. Air Force as a lieutenant colonel. He also intends to continue developing his property management portfolio and will likely begin working for United Airlines, tentatively starting in 2027.
