Title: Owner
Company: Angel Force Protection LLC
Location: Crestview, Florida, United States

Joshua D. Yirkovsky, Owner at Angel Force Protection LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Military for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Military Operations and Security.

Mr. Yirkovsky is distinguished for his success and expertise in military operations as an active-duty enlistee of the U.S. Navy since 2004. Based in Florida, he teaches at the Eglin Air Force Base for the F-35 schoolhouse as a learning management officer. His role involves teaching the instructors how to become more efficient teachers and ensuring they perform their duties properly.

Inspired by his father’s military career, Mr. Yirkovsky joined the Navy one year after his father’s retirement in 2003. Possessing a deep sense of responsibility and a desire to serve his country, he has been fortunate to gain extensive experience locally and abroad. Mr. Yirkovsky also served three tours in Afghanistan between 2005 and 2009.

In addition to his extensive military career, Mr. Yirkovsky established Angel Force Protection LLC as his firm’s owner in 2024. Owned and operated by veterans, he is committed to ensuring the safety of children and improving security measures in schools. Additionally, Mr. Yirkovsky manages the Angel Force Foundation, the company’s nonprofit arm, which provides education and fundraising for the schools so they can have the protection they desire even if they cannot afford to hire Angel Force Protection LLC for its services. The foundation was notably established two months after he launched the company in April 2024.

Mr. Yirkovsky holds an associate degree in psychology from Pensacola State College in Pensacola, Florida. He is now working toward a bachelor’s degree in communications from Excelsior University to advance his career opportunities.

In addition to his educational background, Mr. Yirkovsky is a professional member of the Florida Association of Veteran-Owned Businesses Inc. He is also civically invested and active in the Crestview Chamber of Commerce. These affiliations have been instrumental in shaping his career and involvement within his community.

In recognition of his military accomplishments, Mr. Yirkovsky was decorated with over five Marine Corps Achievement Medals. He considers his two-decade-long military career one of his most significant achievements, besides raising his children. Meanwhile, Mr. Yirkovsky attributes his civilian success to his diverse experience, having traveled worldwide, immersed himself in various cultures, and experienced multiple types of human behavior. This experience was instrumental in his decision to work in security. As a father of two sons who attended a prestigious private Christian school in Florida, he sought to provide the proper security measures lacking on campus. While contemplating retirement, Mr. Yirkovsky instead chose to ensure their safety and the safety of many other students by establishing Angel Force Protection LLC with the assistance of veterans or “angel guards,” as he refers to them, who were already qualified and ready to work.

Eager for the future, Mr. Yirkovsky plans to retire from the U.S. Navy in 2025 after more than 20 years of dedicated service. He envisions continued success in business, providing security throughout the nation through Angel Force Protection LLC. Ultimately, Mr. Yirkovsky’s goal is to provide peace of mind to parents, guardians, grandparents and community members regarding the safety of their schools and lessen the fear of sending their children to school.
