Ebony A. Pugh, medical service officer in the United States Army, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Military for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of military health care.

Drawing on more than a decade of experience, Ms. Pugh has cultivated an accomplished military career. Specializing in medical care, she has operated as a medical service officer in the United States Army since 2011. In addition to her primary focus on providing medical aid to her fellow soldiers, she also conducts a wealth of logistical work as needed. Likewise, Ms. Pugh is well-versed in finances, having created many budgets for the Ohio National Guard throughout her time in the field.

Prior to beginning her military service, Ms. Pugh worked in the Whispering Pines nursery home in Springfield, Ohio, between 2010 and 2011. In her other professional endeavors, she was the executive officer of a local medical company from 2011 to 2016. Ever committed to her profession, she also remains affiliated with several other industry-related organizations. To wit, she has been a member of the Worldwide Women’s Association since 2022 and Gamma Phi Delta Sorority Inc. since 2008. Furthermore, Ms. Pugh continues to serve as a civic-minded citizen, volunteering with the YMCA of Metropolitan Columbus.

Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Pugh pursued a higher education. She began her collegiate career at Wilberforce University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2011. She subsequently continued her studies during the early stages of her professional career, attending the University of Phoenix and achieving a master’s degree in healthcare administration in 2013.

To commemorate her accomplishments in the field, Ms. Pugh was previously honored with a Meritorious Service Award. In light of her fulfilling career, she has largely attributed her success to her determination; she is well-regarded for her positive attitude and drive to never give up on her goals. Accounting for her achievements, she is most notably proud of her record as a patient company commander. Looking to the future, Ms. Pugh hopes to earn her doctorate in biomedical research, as well as another master’s degree, after exiting from her command position.
