Joe Wurm, Logistics Manager at the United States Army, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Military for dedication, achievements, and leadership.

Mr. Wurm is an accomplished servicemember with the U.S. Army. He served with the Army for nearly 30 years before accepting his current position. For more than 20 years, he has excelled as a logistics manager with the U.S. Army.

In 2003, Mr. Wurm was recognized for his accomplishments in the military with induction into the U.S. Army Ordnance Corps Hall of Fame. He attributes his success to the support he has received. Mr. Wurm believes everything he has accomplished is the product of a collaborative effort on behalf of his coworkers and subordinates.

Among his career achievements, Mr. Wurm is proudest of building a memorial to honor fallen soldiers. Through the establishment of this memorial, he hoped to ensure their memories lived on. Additionally, Mr. Wurm is proud to be an honorary regimental warrant officer, an honor bestowed to only 2% of the Army. This position, which he held for 15 years, afforded him the opportunity to travel around the world.

Mr. Wurm prepared for his career at Hartnell Community College. He graduated with an Associate of Arts in automotive engineering and has maintained his interest in cars through his hobbies. In his spare time, Mr. Wurm enjoys collecting, restoring and showing cars. To this end, he has maintained affiliation with the Classic Chevy Club International, among other organizations. In the coming years, he hopes to continue working on cars.
