Sgt. Watlington is the president of MLI Invention Company and MLI Paralegal Services, both in Atlanta, Georgia. He earned his Associate of Applied Science in commercial, advertising, and design work at Fayetteville Technical Community College in 1991. He secured his paralegal certificate diploma at Blackstone Career Institute in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 2022.
Sgt. Watlington is an inventor and the mind behind “smoke master,” a non-toxic smoke that can be used as a non-lethal chemical weapon. He served in the United States Army from 1978 to 1983 and from 1969 to 1971. He was decorated with an Army Commendation medal awarded for heroism for being wounded during battle in Cambodia in 1969 while serving in the Vietnam conflict.
Outside of his professional life, Sgt. Watlington is a DJ who enjoys providing music for others. He attributes his career success to his parents and grandparents and the values they help to instill in him.
