Jesse R. Mitchell ll, Retired Major at the United States Air Force, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Military for dedication, achievements, and leadership in military logistics.

With almost 25 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Mitchell has cultivated an accomplished career of military excellence. He honorably served in the United States Air Force as a logistics readiness officer from 2002 to 2017, achieving the rank of major before retiring from formal service. Since 2019, Mr. Mitchell has continued working with the Air Force in a limited capacity as an officer accessions regional supervisor since 2019. In addition to this appointment, he has also operated as a highway patrolman with the Texas Department of Public Safety in Fort Worth, Texas, since 2008.

As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Mitchell pursued a formal education, completing coursework in transportation and logistics management at the American Military University, and in transportation and human resources at the Community College of the Air Force, part of Air University. Furthermore, in 1998, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration at Stephen F. Austin State University. In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Mitchell holds several industry-related certifications, including impact certification and a license as a master peace officer.

Ever dedicated to his profession, Mr. Mitchell has remained affiliated with several notable organizations, including Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and The Disabled American Veterans. To commemorate his dedication in the field, he has been recognized with several accolades, including the Joint Services Achievement Medal in 2008, an Afghanistan Campaign Medal, and the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Award. In addition to his extensive military career, Mr. Mitchell is also well regarded for his commitment to civic advocacy. To wit, he has participated in the Susan G. Komen Cancer Walk and with Paint Your Heart Out.

With an extensive military lineage in his family, serving in the Air Force came naturally to Mr. Mitchell. In light of his accomplished career, he attributes much of his success to his dedicated work ethic, fantastic mentors and desire to continue improving himself and the world around him. To wit, he always strives to continue learning and taking lessons away from everything that happens in his life. Accounting for his many achievements, he is notably proud to have trained many young airmen who would later become supervisors and leaders in their own right. In the near future, Mr. Mitchell plans to complete a Master of Business Administration at Amberton University, and he hopes to later teach at the collegiate level, become a police chief, or re-enter the corporate environment.
