Jesse Folk, Project Manager at Mechanical Resource Group, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Military for dedication, achievements, and leadership in mechanics administration.
Since 2019, Mr. Folk has excelled as project manager for Mechanical Resource Group (MRG), a premier construction and maintenance firm in Nashville that delivers comprehensive heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions for equipment, sales, service, parts, controls and training. With roots in pumps and hydronics, Mechanical Resource Group has expanded its expertise to include over 15 categories, specializing in HVAC and controls. He had previously served MRG as a service technician from 2014 to 2015.
With Mechanical Resource Group, Mr. Folk’s responsibilities include managing four departments: sales, parts, service, and the control group. In addition, he oversees each installation from estimation to completion, assists salesmen in figuring they need to estimate and helps them write proposals. Once an item is sold, Mr. Folk is in charge of hiring subs, managing all the labor, and buying all the equipment that needs to go to the point of startup as well as scheduling startups to service departments.
Mr. Folk obtained a Diploma in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance in 2013 from Miller-Motte Technical College-Madison. Prior to joining Mechanical Resource Group, he provided superior service from 2012 to 2014 as a service technician with Synergy Service and with Nelson’s Electric Inc. from 2015 to 2016. He has served his country in the United States Army and was deployed to Iraq and Kuwait during the Gulf War.
Mr. Folk became involved in his profession because his stepfather was a HVAC technician when he was growing up. He initially trained in information technology but switched to HVAC after returning home from the Army. According to Mr. Folk, his career highlight was tripling the manpower in the last three years at Mechanical Resource Group. He is looking forward to becoming a general manager with MRG.
