Rev. Sammie L. Davis, a management program analyst at Technique Solutions Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Military for dedication, achievements, and leadership as a combat veteran.

Having led a multifaceted career as an entrepreneur, chef, motivational speaker, educator and combat veteran, Mr. Davis currently serves as a management program analyst on behalf of Technique Solutions Inc. Bearing a particular specialization in logistics operations and strategic planning, he offers his expertise on behalf of the Pentagon in matters of operations, readiness and mobilization. Additionally, leveraging his skills in the STEM fields, he has worked as an adjunct professor of physics and mathematics for the College of Southern Maryland since 2018, and as a motivational speaker in quality performance improvements. Moreover, Mr. Davis works as the chef and chief executive officer of SmokIn Flamez Grill & Catering, a family-focused catering service that combines Cajun, Caribbean, Jamaican and Creole sensibilities into its flavorful palette.

Prior to his work in the private sector, Mr. Davis spent nearly three and a half decades in the U.S. Army. During this time, he was stationed in various locations around the world, including Kadena Air Force Base in Japan and Baghdad, Iraq. In addition to serving as a senior logistics advisor, he also contributed as an operations officer for the DLA Defense Energy Supply Center, a distribution chief for the Iraqi Reconstruction effort, the chief of plans and operations for the DCS HQ’s Third Corps, and a staff synchronization officer. Furthermore, Mr. Davis maintained involvement as an associate professor of force management for the Command and General Staff School at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, from 2013 until 2017. For his performance in the military, he was notably bestowed with the Legion of Merit, among other accolades.

Mr. Davis first sought an education at Dillard University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science in physics and mathematics in 1980. Following this accomplishment, he received a Master of Arts in educational leadership and administration from Central Michigan University in 2007. Presently, Mr. Davis is pursuing a Doctor of Education in educational leadership and administration at Walden University, where he enjoys a 3.9 grade point average.

Outside of his career path, Mr. Davis has served as an associate minister for his local First Baptist Church since 1994.
