Jeffrey M. Schweiger, Retired Lieutenant Commander at U.S. Navy, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Military for dedication, achievements, and leadership in naval flight.
Mr. Schweiger grew up knowing that he was going to join the military. Once enrolled in college he joined the ROTC. From there, he began his naval flight training. He started out wanting to stay in the service for as long as he enjoyed it and ended up staying until he retired. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1975 becoming a Lieutenant Commander and Naval Flight Officer, remaining until he retired in 1994. Before joining the U.S. Navy, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in aeronautics and astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1975. During his service, he matriculated at the Naval Postgraduate School, receiving a Master’s Degree in anti-submarine warfare systems technology in 1982 and a Master’s Degree in computer science in 1992.
Mr. Schweiger is most proud of his volunteer work with the Boys Scouts of America and his time spent as assistant council commissioner. After his time with the U.S. Navy, he became a principal engineer and section manager with Litton PRC from 1994 to 2001. In 2001, he joined Northrop Grumman Information Systems, where he remained until 2011. While there, he held the positions of operations analyst, manager, business development manager of mission systems engineering and competitive intelligence analyst. He then joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise in 2011 as a deal analyst, where he remained until 2017. The following year he was a price to win analyst for DXC Technology. Since 2018, he has held the position of price to win specialist for Peraton, Inc. As a testament to his success, Mr. Schweiger received a Meritorious Service Medal from the U.S. Navy and a District Award of Merit from the Boys Scouts of America.
