Gregory Antwon Bean, Personnelist & H.R. Specialist for the United States Air Force, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Military for dedication, achievements, and leadership in human resources and management.
For more than a decade, Mr. Bean has excelled as a personnelist and human resources specialist in the United States Air Force. Raised in a family with a strong military tradition, as a child, Mr. Bean looked up to several relatives who had built impressive career paths with their service. After graduating, he decided to look into the opportunities available to him in the Air Force, planning to serve for only a brief time, but felt immediately at home, describing the military as “part of my DNA.” Since 2008, he has committed himself to growth as a personnel specialist and human resources management expert.
Mr. Bean holds an Associate of Science in information technology, a second in human resources management from the Community College of the Air Force, and a Bachelor of Science in human resource management from Wayland Baptist University. He is currently completing coursework toward a Master of Business Administration in human resources, with graduation anticipated in Fall of 2022. Throughout his military career, Mr. Bean has been honored with numerous awards and commendations in recognition of his dedication and professionalism, most recently earning 2018 A4P NCO of the Year and 2018 NCO of the Second Quarter for both A4 and A4P.
The highlight of Mr. Bean’s career is the amount of time that he has remained in the United States Armed Forces, and he takes pride in having remained in the Air Force far longer than he had initially intended to. He attributes his success to the support and inspiration of his mother, Regina Williamson, and his brothers, Cameron Tenhoopen Vincent, Martwon Hamilton, and the late Gregory Vincent and Jamarcus Hamilton. In his personal time, Mr. Bean is active in local volunteer initiatives and food drives and is a member of his neighborhood Homeowners Association board. Mr. Bean is passionate about enjoying museums and the performing arts, traveling, cruises, and fine dining. He looks forward to many more years building his career and expertise with the United States Air Force.
