Having accrued more than two and a half decades of expertise in serving as a member of the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Brog presently serves as the executive director of the Air Warrior Courage Foundation. The nonprofit organization was initially established by members of the Red River Valley Fighter Pilots Association in 1998 to address issues of increasing importance to active, retired and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces. Following his flying active combat, he served on the US Air Force Air Staff in Air Force Operations in the Pentagon. Later, he was the director of readiness and electronic combat at the headquarters of the U.S. Air Forces in Europe, and as the Deputy Chief of Staff of Operations, command control and communications countermeasures before retiring from the Air Force in 1982. Well regarded for his gallantry in the line of duty, Mr. Brog was bestowed with a Distinguished Flying Cross, two Legions of Merit, an Air Medal with 12 Oak Leaf Clusters, and recognition as a distinguished graduate of the U.S. Air Force Air War College. In light of his familiarity with the Vietnam theater, he has also been consulted for numerous documentaries, including the Russian language “Dance With Death” and “War Stories with Oliver North.”
Outside of his work with the Air Warrior Courage Foundation, Mr. Brog was the president of International Research and Development Inc. in Silver Spring, Maryland, for which he earned distinction as a domestic and international consultant between 1982 and 2010.
