In 1975, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in music education. It was not until 1981 that he pursued a career with the United States Army. In the years following his retirement from the Army, Mr. Bryan returned to his initial interests in music. In 2001, he was hired as the Director of Bands at Fairway Middle School in Killeen, Texas. An active member of his industry, he is affiliated with the National Education Association, the Texas Bandmasters Association, and the Music Educators National Conference, among several others. He considers the highlights of his career to be his former students who go on to become professional musicians, all of whom credit him with their introduction to the industry. In the next five years, Mr. Bryan sees himself retiring. As a testament to his professional success, he is featured in numerous editions of Who’s Who in America, as well as the 22nd edition of Who’s Who in the World.
